Dec 31, 2021 · Received 36 Likes on 29 Posts. The cheapest VAGCOM unit will cost $200 (not including the laptop) which is good for up to 3 VIN's. Well worth the cost if you service your own vehicles. If you are looking to just reset the service counters it is an expensive option, however I am not aware of another option.

Install the clear hose on top of the bleeder screw, and install the other end into a bottle, then ask a helper to pump the brake pedal a few times. With the brake pedal pressed all the way down, loosen the bleeder screw with your wrench, then watch the fluid draining out.
